Overview Hwanseon Cave is the largest limestone cave in Asia, formed around 530 million years ago. The cave has very well-developed stalactites, stalagmites and columns named “Beauty Rock”, “Turtle Rock” and “Pot Rock” for their looks. A total of 47 types of animals have been discovered inside Hwanseon Cave and among them, 4 types of animals including the “Hwanseon Blind Beetle (Kurasawatrechus latior) are known to be found only in Hwanseon Cave or to be native organisms of Hwanseon Cave. Overview

Hwanseon Cave is the largest limestone cave in Asia, formed around 530 million years ago.
